Our model offers structured administrative support, a best-in-class patient management system, and highly trained administrative staff. We are looking for a Board Certified Psychiatrist for a full‑time position at our New Port Richey, Florida location. The role is essential to our expanding practice and offers the opportunity to join a mission‑driven team at a great company. Responsibilities
Assess and treat mental illnesses through psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, hospitalization, and medication. Conduct regular discussions with patients, helping them find solutions through behavioral changes, exploration of past experiences, or group and family therapy. Supervise and collaborate with mid‑level providers. Provide emergency treatment orders as needed. Administer medications to correct chemical imbalances that cause emotional problems. Use Athena, the computerized medical record system, for progress notes, orders, and medical record review; complete records in a timely manner. Deliver person‑ and family‑centered care. Demonstrate understanding of developmental/age‑specific issues in patient treatment. Interact effectively with patients, supervisors, coworkers, and external agency employees. Perform work safely and efficiently. Comply with policies and procedures regarding workers’ compensation, risk management, and security. Requirements
Education/Training
Licensed in the State of Florida as an M.D. Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist. Language Skills
Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required. Job Type
Full‑time / Part‑time. Pay
$250,000.00 – $300,000.00 per year. Benefits
