Board Certified Psychiatrist – Elite DNA Behavioral Health, Orange Park, FL
Immediate opening for a Board Certified Psychiatrist at a growing telepsychiatry agency that provides quality therapy and psychiatric services for children, adolescents, and adults.
Responsibilities
Assess and treat mental illnesses through a combination of psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, hospitalization, and medication.
Regular discussions with patients about their problems; help them find solutions through changes in their behavioral patterns, the exploration of their past experiences, or group and family therapy sessions.
Collaborate and supervise with mid‑level providers.
Provide emergency treatment orders as needed.
Administer medications to correct chemical imbalances that cause emotional problems.
Use Athena, the computerized medical record system, for progress notes, orders, and medical record review and complete such records in a timely manner.
Deliver person- and family-centered care.
Demonstrate understanding of developmental/age-specific issues in the treatment of patients.
Interact effectively with patients, supervisors, coworkers and external agency employees.
Perform work in a safe and efficient manner.
Comply with policies and procedures regarding workers’ compensation, risk management, and security.
Requirements
Licensed in the State of Florida as an M.D.
Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist.
Language Skills
Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
Job Type
Full-time/Part-time.
Pay
$250,000.00 – $300,000.00 per year.
