Full‑time opening for a Board Certified Psychiatrist
required for our growing mental health agency in North Palm Beach, Florida.
Responsibilities
Assess and treat mental illnesses via psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, hospitalization, and medication.
Conduct regular discussions with patients to help them change behavioral patterns through psychotherapy, past experience exploration, or group and family therapy sessions.
Collaborate and supervise mid‑level providers.
Provide emergency treatment orders as needed.
Administer medications to correct chemical imbalances.
Use the Athena computerized medical record system for progress notes, orders, and record review with timely completion.
Deliver person‑ and family‑centered care.
Demonstrate understanding of developmental/age‑specific issues in treatment.
Interact effectively with patients, supervisors, coworkers, and external agency employees.
Perform work safely and efficiently.
Comply with policies and procedures regarding workers’ compensation, risk management, and security.
Requirements
Licensed in Florida as an M.D.
Board Certified (or Board Eligible) Psychiatrist.
Language Skills
Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required.
Job Type
Full‑time.
Pay
$250,000.00 – $300,000.00 per year.
