Senior Cloud Solution Architect Infosys is seeking a dynamic, strategic and innovative

Senior Cloud Solution Architect . The role involves leading the creation of the cloud adoption strategy, covering portfolio transformation, platform and operations strategy, and collaborating with business consulting and domain specialists. The candidate will also lead the execution of transformation, including architecture definition and technical governance, within a learning culture that values teamwork, collaboration, excellence, diversity and respect.

Required Qualifications

Location: within commuting distance or willing to relocate to Richardson, TX; Houston, TX; Raleigh, NC; Hartford, CT; Indianapolis, IN; Tempe, AZ. Travel across the US may be required.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience can replace each year of education.

At least 11 years of Information Technology experience.

Solution architect level certification for one or more hyperscalers.

At least 4 years as a portfolio/solution architect involving public cloud technologies, with responsibilities on infrastructure, custom applications, and packaged applications.

At least 8 years in technology consulting, architecture, design, build, and operations of IT applications and infrastructure.

Strategic advice and decision-driving skills in cloud technology selection, adoption, and TCO/ROI calculations.

Creation of technical and enterprise architecture standards and guidelines aligned with well‑architected frameworks and vendor best practices.

Experience and desire to work in a technology consulting environment requiring significant USA travel.

Critical evaluation of current state and pragmatic transformation planning.

Leadership and guidance to technical implementation aligned with reference architecture, standards, and guidelines.

Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship. Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

Planning and coordination skills.

Strong communication skills.

Deep understanding of at least one industry vertical, its business processes, and IT rationalization.

System thinking, analytical skills, and hands‑on proficiency with technologies.

Solution architect certification with 2 or more public cloud providers.

Good understanding of AI/ML and application in business problems and engineering processes.

Thought leadership through publications, articles, blogs, or active technical forum participation.

Work in a technology‑agnostic manner with custom, packaged, and data applications.

Coaching, guiding, and mentoring teams in architectural and technological upskilling.

Experience building business cases for cloud transformation with decision makers in Global 2000 companies.

Defining IT portfolio target states to meet business and technical objectives.

Proactivity in identifying relevant technologies that add value.

Collaboration with top talent to design and implement innovative high‑quality integrated solutions, adopting digital natives’ ways of working.

Technical leadership and participation in sales and pursuits focused on client business needs.
