PAE is seeking a strong Senior Electrical Engineer to help grow our presence in Hawaii. We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for sustainable engineering design and has experience in client consultation within the building industry. This is a remote role, however the position requires the candidate to reside on Oahu to meet with clients and conduct site visits on active projects, though outer island candidates will also be considered.

What You’ll Do

Focus on leading PAE’s Healthcare sector service as part of Electrical Design

Contribute to Healthcare business development through the development of a Marketing/BD plan, while building client relationships

Project team leadership and management, responsible for completing the project on time within budget

Responsible for the preparation of deliverable documents including narratives, calculations, drawings and specifications

Attend client meetings, lead the coordination effort between external and internal project teams

Independently evaluate and apply engineering judgment, techniques, and procedures to complete a project from concepts through construction

Proficient in electrical system distribution, lighting and power system design

Assemble effective project teams

Thorough understanding of interdisciplinary coordination

Advanced understanding of the application of building codes and electrical industry standards

Oversee engineering calculations and equipment selection

Perform site visits and issues reports

Provide training, guidance and mentorship for staff

Provide updates to master specifications and standards, and improve company processes

Engineering application of distribution Load Flow, Short Circuit and Arc Flash Energy analysis using Easy Power

Develop client relationships

Oversee the application of the project quality management plan (QMP)

May be responsible as a Project Manager or the Engineer of Record (EOR) with approval

Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline work

Advanced knowledge of Healthcare electrical design

Requires a minimum 1-3 years of Electrical E-4 or 6-10 years of experience with an emphasis on healthcare facilities design

Hiring Base Salary Range

$100,000-$148,000

This position is eligible for straight time overtime pay

The base salary is one component of PAE’s competitive compensation package for employees. We take into consideration a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity and geographic location in determining exact salary offered. At PAE, roles are eligible for additional rewards, including salary increases and annual bonuses based on individual performance. The above range represents PAE's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
