Ampersand Consulting
At Ampersand, our vision is to be a recognized, trusted consulting partner that empowers both clients and consultants to thrive in the age of AI — known for innovation, measurable impact, and a culture built on curiosity and progress. Our consultants are problem-solvers who combine deep technical expertise with business acumen to deliver outcomes that matter. Rooted in South Florida, we’re an innovative team that values authenticity and entrepreneurial spirit. We embrace ambiguity, lead with empathy, and aren’t afraid to push boundaries. Our strength lies in our diversity of thought and our commitment to doing what’s right for our clients.
About This Opportunity This role blends strategic consulting leadership with deep technical automation engineering. You’ll work directly with clients to understand their business challenges, design AI-powered automation strategies, and build intelligent workflows that create immediate value.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys operating across both strategy and execution—someone who can lead a room, architect solutions, and still dive into the technical build when needed.
What Makes This Role Different This role requires equal parts consultant, architect, and engineer. You will:

Translate ambiguous business problems into scalable AI automation strategies
Architect automation solutions that may include agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, and multi-system integrations
Build automation workflows from proof-of-concept to production
Provide oversight and mentorship to internal teams and client stakeholders
Influence Ampersand’s AI automation best practices and delivery standards
Essential Requirements (Non‑Negotiable) Consulting Leadership
Minimum 5+ years in professional services, consulting, or a client‑facing technical role
Experience leading client engagements from discovery through delivery
Comfortable managing senior stakeholders and presenting complex ideas clearly
Ability to scope projects, define requirements, and guide clients through project delivery
Automation Engineering Expertise
Deep hands‑on experience building workflow automations in tools such as Make, Workato, Zapier, UiPath, or Power Automate
Strong understanding of system integration, APIs, error handling, data structures, and scalable workflow design
Proven track record of delivering reliable, production‑ready automations
Ability to document architectures, create runbooks, and maintain clean operational frameworks
AI & Agentic Automation
Experience implementing LLM‑powered workflows
Familiarity with RAG, vector databases, embeddings, and model orchestration
Ability to evaluate LLMs, design prompts, and build guardrails for accuracy and reliability
Interest in emerging agentic technologies and how they reshape business operations
Delivery & Operational Excellence
Strong project management capabilities
Ability to operate independently while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams
Commitment to quality, testing, and continuous improvement
Comfortable balancing client needs, timelines, and technical complexity
What You’ll Do Immediate Impact (Months 1‑3)

Build early proof‑of‑concept workflows demonstrating AI‑enabled value
Establish delivery plans, documentation, and automation standards
Ongoing Responsibilities
