The Transport Team are responsible for developing and planning the transport strategy and system for a hospitality programme on event. Sourcing and contracting transport suppliers and researching and drafting all transport routes. As well as preparing transport contingency plans and driver training.
We are looking to recruit 2x Transport Coordinators on a contract starting on the 9th of July and ending on the 19th of July. You will be working on a client project for the Global Sporting Event in the US in 2026.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of all transport systems
Develop a comprehensive geographical knowledge of the area and the various routes
Assist in establishing efficient & effective coach transport system including emergency plans
Produce event time manuals including transport operations manual, route maps and incident & accident logs for drivers and transport teams
Assist in the management of all on site transport operations
Alongside the senior management assist in the development of the transport schedule
Build effective and professional working relationships with all suppliers
Devise coach loading and dispatch system and manage during event time
Understand all security procedures and collaborate with client Security Team to implement all necessary safeguards in to transport planning
Ensure drivers and/or hosts are fully conversant with safety aspects of vehicle
Prepare roster plans for drivers and transport team, to ensure drivers have adequate breaks between shifts
Understand event procedures and protocols
This is not an exhaustive list and all team members will be expected to contribute to any other aspects of the business, as necessary.
Skills, Knowledge, Expertise
Fluent in English. Any additional languages would be an advantage.
Previous experience in a transport with a demonstrable understanding of transport logistics
Team and driver management experience
Excellent IT skills, Excel, Word, Power Point - confident using different platforms and devices
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Attributes

Willing to roll sleeves up and get involved
Passionate about sport, hospitality and delivery
