Accelerated Management Program Daikin is looking for students to join our Accelerated Management Program (AMP). The 12‑month program offers hands‑on experience from the ground up and explores two tracks: Branch Operations and Outside Sales.
Position Responsibilities Focus your career on service‑oriented and relationship‑based selling. Build a solid foundation of product, operational, and customer knowledge.
Counter Sales: Face‑to‑face customer interactions, product knowledge, system training.
Warehouse: Hands‑on experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
Inside/Showroom Sales: Develop daily sales skills and customer relationships to prepare for branch leadership.
Leadership & Pricing: Develop leadership skills, provide accurate pricing, inventory, and maintain relationships.
Outside Sales Focus
Business development and prospecting in a designated market territory.
Customer prioritization: Manage quick response times, on‑site solutions, and on‑time delivery.
Houston Training: Network with corporate leaders and support teams at our Houston location.
New business development, sales goal achievement, and stakeholder relationship building.
Nature & Scope
Broad theoretical knowledge from advanced education.
No discretion to deviate from established procedures; structured assignments.
Closely supervised work.
Problems faced are not typically difficult or complex.
Explains facts, policies, and practices related to the job area.
Knowledge & Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Leadership: Motivate and manage teams.
Analytical thinking and problem‑solving.
Decision making: Timely and informed.

Education/Certification Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, Sales, Entrepreneurial Studies (or similar). Must have at least a 3.0 GPA (overall and major).
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
Long‑term flexibility in location within the region; willing to relocate after program completion.
