Refrigeration Project Manager
Shambaugh & Son, L.P.
– Join our team as a Project Manager for industrial refrigeration projects. In this role you will pre‑plan and manage construction projects utilizing all company resources to deliver satisfied customers, increased productivity, and profitability.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain up‑to‑date change order, subcontractor, RFI, and contingency logs.
Work with the operations manager to ensure the labor plan is being carried out.
Create mechanical schedules and man‑loading charts for all projects.
Consistently submit accurate, timely, and complete estimates and change order quotations.
Communicate with purchasing and the fabrication shop to secure schedules, scope, and pricing.
Promote and enforce a safe working environment.
Satisfy customers’ needs to develop repeat business.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
Construction/engineering based degree is a plus.
Willingness to travel as required.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Project.
Knowledge in generating and updating construction schedules (MS Project).
Ability to read plans and ISO drawings for ordering material and estimating change orders.
Ability to order, track, and expedite timely delivery of pipe valves, fittings, and specialty items to multiple locations.
Self‑starter, good communication skills.
Regular and reliable attendance, with ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.
