Job Title: Refrigeration Project Manager Location: Orange, CA Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Refrigeration Project Manager to join our team in Orange, CA. The ideal candidate will have a background in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of five years of experience managing commercial and industrial refrigeration projects. This role requires a deep understanding of refrigeration systems, strong leadership capabilities, and excellent project management skills to successfully oversee all phases of project execution from design through commissioning. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage refrigeration projects from design and permitting through installation and closeout. Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and construction coordination. Review and approve refrigeration system designs, equipment selections (e.g., compressors, condensers, evaporators), and installation methods. Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam, Procore, and MS Project to manage project documentation and communication. Collaborate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient and compliant project delivery. Monitor jobsite progress, identify project risks, and implement timely resolutions. Ensure compliance with industry standards, EPA regulations, OSHA safety guidelines, and local codes. Conduct system start-ups, performance verification, and client training as needed. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and financials. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial/industrial refrigeration projects Proficient in project management tools: Bluebeam, Procore, and MS Project. Solid understanding of refrigeration principles, controls, and equipment. Familiarity with refrigerants, leak detection, and environmental compliance. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Located in or willing to relocate/commute to Orange, CA.
