SUMMARY:
The Accounting Manager will report to the Director of Accounting. They will manage Staff Accountant, aid in the month-end general ledger close, monitor cash flow, analyze financial information, and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage Staff Accountant and other employees as assigned.
Prepare, maintain and analyze weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
Develop financial reports for financial analysis, forecasting, and trending.
Prepare journal entries, reconcile assigned general ledger accounts, and prepare necessary adjusting entries.
Assist with preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Assist with annual budget process, audits, and special projects.
Prepare journal entry to post payroll activity to the general ledger.
Assist with inventory audit reconciliations.
Work cooperatively and actively with accounting team and others in the company to drive continuous process improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
Previous corporate accounting experience required.
Solid understanding of general accounting principles.
Very strong aptitude for business software applications, including proficiency with general ledger and spreadsheet programs; knowledge of Sage Pro accounting software a plus.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong analytical ability.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong work ethic, high energy with a professional, flexible approach.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of an organization.
