Sales Director
for our Assisted Living and Independent Living community.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
Lead all sales and occupancy efforts for a single Assisted Living and Independent Living community, ensuring a warm, supportive, and seamless experience for prospective residents and their families.
Drive census growth by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, monitoring trends, and identifying opportunities to increase occupancy.
Manage the full sales cycle, including inquiry response, tours, follow-up, and move-in coordination.
Build strong relationships with prospective residents, families, and referral sources to promote the community’s services and lifestyle offerings.
Develop and maintain referral networks with hospitals, physicians, case managers, home health agencies, senior centers, and community organizations.
Present and educate referral sources and families on the community’s care levels, amenities, pricing, and specialized programs.
Coordinate and participate in marketing events, community outreach activities, and networking efforts to enhance visibility and brand awareness.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of inquiries, tours, follow-ups, and move-ins in CRM systems.
Collaborate closely with the Executive Director and clinical teams to assess prospective residents’ needs and confirm appropriate placement.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of state regulations, community guidelines, and eligibility criteria for residency.
Track key performance indicators such as occupancy rates, lead conversion, referral trends, and marketing ROI.
Provide actionable recommendations for improving sales processes based on data, feedback, and market conditions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in senior living sales (Assisted Living, Independent Living, or Memory Care) or related healthcare marketing/sales roles.
Strong understanding of senior living services, private-pay financial considerations, and residency eligibility criteria.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and priorities simultaneously.
Proven ability to achieve or exceed occupancy and sales goals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Must demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and a customer-service-focused approach.
