Job Summary
As the
Sales Director , you play a vital role in helping older adults and their loved ones explore the next chapter of life with confidence. Your mission is to build meaningful relationships, provide clear and honest information, and help individuals envision the vibrant, enriching lifestyle and support our community offers. This is a heart‑centered leadership role that is grounded in empathy, but also requires strategic thinking, initiative, and active presence both inside and outside the community. You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping families explore options and navigate emotions, while also cultivating strong referral partnerships that expand our reach. You will lead occupancy and revenue growth by fostering trust with community partners. Through thoughtful engagement and outreach, you will ensure our community maintains a respected presence and continues to be recognized as a valued resource within the local community.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a warm and informed first point of contact for prospective residents and their families, offering compassionate guidance throughout their senior living journey.
Lead personalized tours and conversations that help individuals understand our community’s lifestyle and supportive care options.
Cultivate strong relationships with local healthcare providers, referral sources, and community organizations to build trust and generate qualified inquiries.
Organize and participate in outreach efforts, events, and open houses that raise awareness and foster connections within the local area.
Collaborate with leadership and team members to ensure smooth transitions for residents and support occupancy goals throughout the entire inquiry, move‑in, and move‑out process.
Monitor and exceed occupancy and revenue targets, aligning with budget expectations through proactive outreach and engagement.
Maintain accurate and timely records of leads, referrals, and communications using CRM software to support follow‑up and tracking.
Provide excellent service to prospective residents, current families, and community members, responding to questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Reflect the community’s mission and values through ethical conduct, positive representation, and relationship‑centered communication.
Requirements Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Work, or related field.
3+ years of community engagement, sales, or marketing experience within the senior living or healthcare industry.
OR
Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Work, or related field.
8+ years of community relations, sales, or marketing experience within the senior living or healthcare industry.
Skills and Qualifications
Passion for helping others make life‑enhancing decisions with dignity and confidence.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Outstanding interpersonal skills and natural ability to connect meaningfully with people from all walks of life.
Highly organized and self‑motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Ability to lead and collaborate with a team.
Proven ability to drive marketing efforts to exceed census goals.
Technologically proficient, especially in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Move‑N and CareFeed experience is a plus.
Sound judgement and a strong ethical foundation in decision‑making.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods.
Ability to move comfortably and safely, which can include lifting, bending, stretching, squatting, etc.
