Job Summary GGC is accepting applications for part‑time faculty positions in Supply Chain Management for the academic year 2025‑2026. Positions are semester‑based and report directly to the Department Chair. Courses may be face‑to‑face, online, hybrid, or blended. Faculty may teach in the fall, spring, and/or summer semesters. Additional time outside of class is required for grading and meeting with students.
Responsibilities
Develop course curricula, including the syllabus, lesson plans, and graded assignments, in accordance with upper‑division program requirements.
Review, evaluate, and recommend student learning materials.
Evaluate students to measure progress toward institutional and course goals.
Submit required instructional paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Required Qualifications A minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
Terminal degree in the teaching discipline.
One year of college‑level teaching experience.
Sustained professional engagement that demonstrates relevance and currency in the field of teaching.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong commitment to undergraduate education, student engagement, and service to the college and community. GGC values innovative teaching, advising, and mentoring; all faculty are expected to engage in these activities.
Conditions of Employment Offers are contingent upon a background investigation, including criminal background check, confirmation of credentials, and, if applicable, a satisfactory credit check. Pre‑employment drug testing may be required. Employment is subject to applicable federal and state laws, and University System of Georgia policies and regulations.
