Job Summary Georgia Gwinnett College is accepting applications for part‑time faculty positions in Management Information Systems for the School of Business for academic year 2025‑2026. Positions are semester‑based, report to the Department Chair, and may be taught face‑to‑face, online, hybrid, or blended. All positions are on an as‑needed basis and require additional time outside of class for feedback and individual meetings with students.
Responsibilities
Develop course curricula, including the syllabus, lesson plans, and graded assignments, in accordance with program requirements and in consultation with the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs.
Review, evaluate, and recommend student learning materials.
Evaluate students to measure progress toward institutional and course goals.
Submit required paperwork related to instruction in a timely and accurate manner.
Required Qualifications A minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
Terminal degree in the teaching discipline
One year of college‑level teaching experience
Sustained professional engagement that demonstrates relevance and currency in the field of teaching.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong commitment to undergraduate education, student engagement, and service to the college and community. Faculty are expected to participate in innovative teaching, advising, and mentoring.
