The Town of Wellesley Council on Aging is seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant to provide office support in a busy and welcoming environment that serves our senior population. The incumbent will assist with a variety of administrative and clerical duties, including scanning and organizing departmental policies and procedures, converting documents to Word format, entering data into Excel spreadsheets, calling and confirming SHINE appointments, assisting with mailings, and filing invoices and records.

The ideal candidate must be flexible, kind, patient and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where phones ring frequently and many patrons visit throughout the day. The position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Hours are flexible but must be scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This position is part time and not eligible for benefits.

The hourly rate is $25.00 per hour.
