Summary

Store Workers provide front‑line support in commissary store departments (grocery, produce, warehouse). They perform receiving, handling, labeling, stocking, and displaying resale items, and maintain store appearance and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adequate stock of resale items.
• Identify and address spoilage, damage and out‑of‑date merchandise.
• Receive supplies, equipment and resale items.
• Operate computer system to calculate prices and label merchandise.
• Transport items to shelving and display areas.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a retail or store setting is preferred.
• Ability to operate a barcode‑reading or point‑of‑sale system.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.
• U.S. citizenship required; proof of citizenship required at appointment.
• Meet age and Selective Service requirements as stated in the posting.

Physical Requirements

• Continuously walk, stand, bend, stoop, stretch and reach.
• Lift up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance.
