Overview
Store Workers serve in one or more commissary store departments (e.g., grocery, produce, warehouse, etc.) performing a variety of duties involved in receiving, handling, marking, preparing, displaying, and maintaining the stock of resale items.
This is an open-continuous announcement with an established initial cut-off date 30 days after the open date of the announcement. Please see the “How You Will Be Evaluated” section for more information.
Duties
- Maintaining adequate stock of resale items.
- Identifying any obvious spoilage, damage, and out-of-date merchandise.
- Receiving supplies, equipment and resale items.
- Operating a computer system that calculates and marks prices, and determines weights of merchandise.
- Transporting items to shelving and display areas.
Qualifications

- Ensuring the proper care and handling of resale grocery items.
- Locating items for customers.
- Rotating stock, stacking containers, and participating in inventories.
- Operating a computer system to calculate prices and label merchandise.
- Arranging stock on shelves and in displays.
Physical requirements: (1) Continuously walk, stand, bend, stoop, stretch, and reach. (2) Lift up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance.

Acceptance window: 10/24/2025 to 01/25/2026. Salary: $19.38 to $28.99 per hour NTE 48-64 hours biweekly. Appointment type: Permanent. Work schedule: Part-time – Schedule varies by location and includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Telework/Remote: Not eligible.
