The Customer Service Supervisor ensures the efficient operation of the front end of the store. The supervisor leads a sales team that is passionate about selling merchandise and ensuring a good customer experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Greet and acknowledge every customer with Ollie's "Yes I Care, Yes I Can" approach to build long‑term customer loyalty.
- Resolve customer service issues, including answering questions, assisting with transactions, and communicating customer requests to Team Leaders when necessary.
- Ensure all products at the front end are merchandised per visual merchandise standards.
- Maintain the front‑end entrance and building exterior properly.
- Ensure front‑end operations, store standards, and company programs meet all operational expectations.
- Develop, evaluate, and supervise front‑end Associates.
- Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one to two years’ retail experience in a mid‑size to large retail service‑oriented business preferred.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
- Must have a positive attitude and the ability to interact well with others.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner.
