Job Responsibilities
Manage and grow business through consistent communication with assigned owners and internal teams, focusing on sales generation
Coach and train retail sellers at the farm-gate on products, programs, services, and technologies
Execute strategies using tools such as the Account Plan and Farmer by Farmer (FxF) Plan, monitoring progress against established goals
Communicate the total acre value proposition to top retail sellers, including brand strategies and digital technology
Coordinate with local manufacturer representatives and manage discretionary and insight trial seed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or business-related field plus 2 years of industry or direct sales experience; or 7 years of successful work experience in industry or direct sales
Proactive communicator with exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
Ability to coach and mentor others while making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
Solid experience using Microsoft Office products and CRM software (Salesforce)
Valid state driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50%
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in agricultural product expertise and capability to educate others on products and services
Proven ability to manage projects effectively
Experience leading and adapting quickly to change
