LHH has partnered with a growing healthcare organization in search for a Sr Accountant. Are you ready to take on a key role in driving financial accuracy and operational excellence? This position offers the opportunity to lead critical processes, collaborate with leadership, and contribute to strategic financial initiatives. Responsibilities of this direct hire Sr Accountant include:
Prepare and post monthly journal entries.
Reconcile general ledger accounts with bank balances.
Support month-end and year-end close processes with organized schedules and reconciliations.
Help with grants, investments, debt, and fixed assets accounting.
Manage financial data interfaces for accurate reporting.
Maintain and update departmental procedures and documentation.
Serve as audit liaison and respond to audit inquiries.
Identify and implement process improvements.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, and a CPA preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, including complex reconciliations and financial statement preparation preferably within the healthcare industry.
Proficient with MS Excel and Workday, or any other large ERP system.
Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
