Job Responsibilities
Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the finance team, including mentoring the Controller.
Lead financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Review and optimize QuickBooks Online accounting structure and implement process improvements.
Produce monthly financial reporting packages with statements, dashboards, and KPIs.
Oversee grant and revenue management, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and deadlines.
Requirements
Demonstrate high proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Apply expert knowledge of US GAAP to ensure compliance in all financial activities.
Utilize strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to improve processes and reporting.
Communicate effectively with leadership and cross‑functional teams using clear and precise language.
Manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate results under tight deadlines.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.
5+ years of senior‑level accounting or financial management experience.
Possess experience in nonprofit financial operations and grant accounting.
Exhibit exceptional organizational skills and strategic leadership capabilities.
Operate with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
