Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Fractional CFO to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $60.00 to $70.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the finance team, including mentoring the Controller.
- Lead financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Review and optimize QuickBooks Online accounting structure and implement process improvements.
- Produce monthly financial reporting packages with statements, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Oversee grant and revenue management, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and deadlines.
Requirements
- Demonstrate high proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Apply expert knowledge of US GAAP to ensure compliance in all financial activities.
- Utilize strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to improve processes and reporting.
- Communicate effectively with leadership and cross‑functional teams using clear and precise language.
- Manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate results under tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of senior‑level accounting or financial management experience.
- Possess experience in nonprofit financial operations and grant accounting.
- Exhibit exceptional organizational skills and strategic leadership capabilities.
- Operate with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
