Procurement and Contracts Analyst

Job Description and Duties The Procurement and Contracts Analyst for the Division of Integrated Science and Engineering (DISE) will be responsible for managing the procurement of technical materials, equipment, and contract services primarily for the Bryte Chemical Laboratory. Duties include sourcing vendors, securing bids, preparing specifications, and ensuring compliance with state procurement regulations. The incumbent will track purchases through the Procurement Tracking System and utilize SAP software to create requisitions and process purchase orders. The role also involves coordinating with various groups and vendors for efficient delivery and invoice processing, acting as the liaison with the Accounting Office to facilitate payment. Additionally, the Procurement Analyst will manage receiving and distribution operations, resolve discrepancies, and assist in developing and maintaining contracts and inter‑agency agreements. The incumbent will also be asked to lead special projects related to procurement and contract analysis, including expenditure tracking and data analysis for strategic decision-making.
