Overview & Responsibilities Under the general direction of the Personnel Officer, the Benefits and Transactions Analyst serves as a lead resource and subject‑matter expert for both the Benefits and Transactions units. The incumbent:

coordinates projects, conducts data analysis and processes personnel transactions

administers employee benefit programs

provides comprehensive support across both functions with accuracy, timeliness, and integrity

represents leadership when delegated and ensures unit priorities are advanced

Working Conditions Work occurs in a typical office setting. Exposure to adverse environmental conditions is minimal. Ergonomic principles and workplace safety guidelines are followed. Telework is available one day per week after initial training.

ANALYST I

$3,861.00 – $4,839.00 (A); $4,181.00 – $5,233.00 (B); $5,014.00 – $6,276.00 (C)

ANALYST II

$6,031.00 – $7,547.00 (A)

Desirable Qualifications

Ability to provide exceptional customer service using critical thinking, discretion, and tact.

Strong analytical skills and ability to present ideas effectively, orally and in writing.

Initiative and ability to handle multiple and changing priorities while working independently and in a team.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) Your SOQ must be 1–2 pages, 12‑point font, and directly address the following questions:

Describe how you would build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and customers and why it’s important.

Describe an experience working in a fast‑paced environment with time‑sensitive projects, and how you managed changing processes and priorities.

Failure to include a completed SOQ may result in disqualification for interview.
