Senior Trial Attorney , you’ll represent clients under commercial and personal lines insurance policies, handling diverse cases across Upstate New York. This is a fully remote position with frequent travel to venues in Buffalo and Rochester. What You’ll Do

Serve as

lead counsel

in civil litigation matters involving property and casualty insurance defense or subrogation. Provide strategic case valuations and timely updates to clients and claims teams. Utilize advanced trial advocacy skills and maintain awareness of evolving laws and technology. Mentor junior attorneys and foster collaboration across the Nationwide Trial Division. Demonstrate proactive case management, strong work ethic, and exceptional communication skills. What We’re Looking For

Education:

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Experience:

8+ years of civil litigation experience in property and casualty insurance defense or subrogation. Licensing:

Active license in New York. Strong negotiation, analytical, and legal research skills. Ability to adapt to changes in law and technology; highly collaborative and organized. Preferred Experience

Bodily Injury / Personal Injury (Auto) Personal Lines and Commercial Lines Insurance Defense First-Party Medical / PIP / New York No-Fault Examinations Under Oath (Claimant & Medical Providers) Multi-claim investigations; Third-Party Bodily Injury and Uninsured/Underinsured Benefits
