Acts as a subject matter expert on CBB fringe and Dues benefit administration programs defined in our Collectively Bargained Agreements. Evaluates program functionality within the HR systems, collaborating with other Business Services teams to ensure procedural compliance, as well as recommending innovative ways to improve processes. Serves as quality assurance lead for CBB in support of consistent administrative practices. Develops and maintains department documentation and training aids. Acts as primary resource to coordinate Business Process Changes within the HR Prioritization Framework; and serves as testing lead and QA resource on behalf of the CBB Function in Business Services. Works with a variety of internal and external contacts, including vendors, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC , Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD and Mauldin, SC. Responsibilities
Primary CBB Liaison for project initiatives that drive change to union systems, processes and procedures
Supports data assessment initiatives as needed to assist the brand team(s) as well as various other internal or external teams.
Reviews, updates and analyzes department documentation for accuracy.
Creates documentation and training of standard operating procedures for tiered support processes.
Coordinates business user acceptance testing of system functionality, including supporting the development of business requirements and test plans. Supports the related execution of test scripts and ensures updates are working properly post-migration to production.
Collaborates with CBB Operation team to develop solutions, project plans for key initiatives and cycle-work Interfaces and serves as main point of contact with Union Fund and third-party administrator's Auditors & manages overall Audit Compliance.
Stays current on industry benefit trends and applicable legislation.
Understand the nuances in policies and related programs; analyze and balance risk in creating clear guidelines to team.
Assists Manager with special projects and strategies to improve effectiveness of the CBB team.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in HR or Payroll function
Intermediate MS Office, Visio and Project skills
Advanced Excel Skills
HR systems knowledgeHuman Resource certification (CBP, SHRM, etc).
HR Experience in working with Unions
HR systems knowledge.
Reporting tools knowledge.
Familiarity with payroll, and HR generalist topics a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Thorough understanding of functional analysis and system design.
Experience with SuccessFactors
Experience with Kronos
