Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Epic Radiant Consultant
with a strong background in
hospital systems
to support the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of the
Epic Radiant (Radiology Information System)
module. The ideal candidate will have expertise in
Epic Radiant certification , clinical workflow analysis, system configuration, and integration with other hospital systems such as
PACS, RIS, DICOM, and HL7 interfaces .
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, build, and optimization of the
Epic Radiant
module to improve radiology workflows.
Collaborate with radiologists, imaging technologists, and hospital IT teams to streamline operations.
Configure and maintain integrations between
Epic Radiant and imaging systems
(e.g., PACS, RIS, DICOM).
Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and end-user training.
Support hospital compliance with
HIPAA, security, and regulatory requirements
related to radiology systems.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless
Epic EMR integration
within the hospital ecosystem.
Provide ongoing support, including issue resolution, system enhancements, and upgrades.
Participate in
go-live support and post-implementation optimization .
Epic Radiant Certification
(Active or Recent) is mandatory.
3-5+ years of experience
implementing and supporting Epic Radiant in a
hospital environment .
Strong knowledge of
radiology workflows ,
clinical imaging systems , and
hospital IT infrastructure .
Experience with
PACS, RIS, HL7 interfaces, and DICOM standards .
Familiarity with
hospital billing, scheduling, and reporting functionalities
within Epic.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve system-related issues.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with clinical and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
Epic upgrades, optimizations, and enhancements .
Knowledge of
Epic Bridges, Beaker (Lab Module), or other Epic modules .
Previous experience working in a
hospital or large healthcare system .
Experience with
SQL, reporting tools (Clarity, Reporting Workbench), or scripting
is a plus.
