Compensation
$26–28/hr Must be able to work a.m. and p.m. shifts
Responsibilities Perform general repairs and services in all maintenance disciplines, including carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, minor electrical, finish work, etc.
Prioritize work orders through urgent requests and established hotel area downtimes to minimize inconveniencing guests.
Effectively interact with department managers.
Respond to guest room calls as required.
Complete all assigned preventative maintenance procedures.
Adhere to hotel safety standards.
Perform other duties and handle projects as assigned by Manager.
Assist other departmental craft workers as required.
Perform all duties required as Fire Alarm Response Team.
Participate in OSHA/Safety programs and emergency evacuation team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands Lift, push, pull, rotate 50 lbs or more.
Manual dexterity to operate and grasp tools.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
Standing and walking up to a full 8 hours a day.
Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or general maintenance/technician certification a plus.
Experience: One year of experience in general maintenance and repair work at hotels preferred and required. Knowledge of OSHA Safety and Chemical Standards.
Preferred Behaviors: Team player, detail oriented, dedicated, flexibility, self‑starter, goal completion.
Required Behaviors: 1‑year experience in general maintenance and repair work.
