About the Role As the Chief Nursing Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving nursing practice and innovation, fostering professional growth, mentoring and leading your team, and ensuring the highest quality of patient care is consistently provided.
Responsibilities
Provide the strategic direction and leadership to the nursing team
Implement policies and procedures that promote quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards
Foster a culture of patient safety, clinical excellence, and compassionate care
Collaborate across all levels to achieve hospital‑wide goals and initiatives
Recruit, mentor, and develop nursing staff
Manage the budgetary and operational aspects of the nursing team
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) State of Pennsylvania
Master's degree required (if not in Nursing, must have BSN as well)
Minimum five (5) years of progressive nursing leadership experience in an acute care hospital setting (as a Director of Nursing, ACNO or CNO)
Minimum seven (7) years of total nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Ability to inspire and motivate a team
