What You’ll Do
Lead strategic growth for HDR’s waste sector, driving market share and revenue growth globally.
Serve as trusted advisor to key clients, aligning HDR’s capabilities with their goals.
Lead major pursuits and campaigns, develop winning strategies and guide proposal efforts.
Collaborate with market and operations leadership to define and support regional strategic plans.
Mentor and train the business development team, fostering a culture of client focus and strategic thinking.
Align resources to match client needs and growth opportunities, helping HDR attract great people.
Background & Experience Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Professional or engineering registration or certificate, or related technical experience.
Demonstrated experience winning high‑value contracts in the waste industry.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 15 years relevant industry experience.
Self‑starter with a history of completing projects with limited oversight.
Deep knowledge of the A/E/C industry's standard approach to procurement of professional services.
Ability to motivate and inspire others.
Network building with clients and industry partners.
Sales experience and effective win‑strategy development.
Strong financial acumen and negotiation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Willingness and ability to travel and engage face‑to‑face.
Experience growing programs in new or highly competitive markets.
Experience in winning high‑value contracts in the A/E/C industry.
Experience writing compelling content based on technical staff input.
Primary Location Omaha, Nebraska, United States Other locations in the United States may provide remote work options.
Salary Range $167,580 - $277,200 (Based on experience and location).
