Senior Associate, Workday Financials KPMG Advisory’s Managed Services practice is our fastest‑growing practice. As a Senior Associate, you will deliver day‑to‑day Workday managed services for post‑production clients, partner with clients on optimization initiatives, and mentor junior staff. Your role is critical to ensuring client satisfaction, timely delivery, and continuous improvement of the Workday solution.

Responsibilities

Execute day‑to‑day activities of Workday managed services engagements for post‑production clients, including enhancement and optimization initiatives, break/fix support, release management, new feature deployments, process improvement, and road‑mapping.

Ensure client satisfaction and timely delivery; collaborate with clients to strategize and drive post‑production goals forward.

Support cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and deliver solutions; lead analysis, design, configuration, and delivery of Workday solutions.

Coordinate work handoffs with offshore team, trace client updates, and act as point of contact for support needs during U.S. business hours.

Act as functional subject‑matter expert during sales, proposals, and KPMG Value Optimizations, assessing tenants to identify optimization opportunities.

Mentor and upskill junior resources onshore and offshore.

Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment.

Qualifications

Minimum three years of recent client‑facing experience in Workday Finance, with support of Workday clients in a managed‑services organization and/or participation in at least two full‑scale implementations of Workday Financials.

MBA or MIS from an accredited college/university preferred; at least a bachelor’s degree required.

Required Workday certification/skills in at least two of the following modules: Workday Pro Contracts to Cash Services, Business Assets Services Certification, Accounting Center Certification. Candidates without current certifications must obtain them within three months of hire.

Understanding of ITIL framework, ITSM, and service desk management.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Strong organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; continuous learning of Workday features and best practices.

Understanding of process reengineering, designing and implementing business performance management enhancements, including process workflow, approvals, and reporting.

Ability to travel as required.
