Our client is seeking a seasoned Regional Vice President
with extensive experience in the electrical contracting industry, particularly in overseeing large-scale operations. This role is based in the Northern California area, managing a team of 250-300 field staff, and offers significant career growth opportunities, including stock options and a car allowance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical contracting, connections within the Sacramento region, and the ability to manage revenue goals of $120-125 million. The position focuses on driving regional success through strategic leadership, operational oversight, and maintaining strong client relationships. Responsibilities
Oversee regional operations, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality control across teams. Manage all aspects of labor costs, manpower recruitment, project procurement, and contract management. Lead strategic planning to enhance profitability, productivity, and operational efficiency. Set and manage regional profit goals in collaboration with the Board of Directors. Maintain and foster strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and public agencies. Supervise engineering design teams, project schedules, and budget management. Mentor and develop both office and field staff through training and leadership initiatives. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and labor laws. Represent the company at industry events and maintain an active role in related organizations. Facilitate proactive problem-solving on job sites, addressing potential safety or production issues. Support the company’s cultural initiatives and mission at the regional level. Travel up to 50% of the time, as required, to meet leadership needs across the region. Must Have's
5+ years in a senior leadership role within the electrical contracting industry. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field. Proven ability to manage large-scale operations with a focus on achieving profit goals. Extensive knowledge of strategic planning, contract negotiation, and compliance requirements. Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and public speaking. Experience with business reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and forecasting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Blue Beam, and other relevant systems. $1,250 monthly car allowance. Competitive salary with performance bonuses.
