Recovery Support Specialist The Recovery Support Specialist supports the program by ensuring that quality direct‑care services are provided to clients. The role reports to the Program Director for regular supervision and assignments. Location: Women's Hope, Jamaica Plain – a residential treatment program for 16 women with co‑occurring substance use disorder and mental health conditions. Essential Functions

Act in accordance with Victory Programs’ Standards of Excellence & Philosophy of Care at all times, maintaining professional ethics, boundaries, and client confidentiality. Provide quality, empathetic customer service to program clients. Ensure medication policies and procedures are followed when clients take medication. Maintain medication documentation, including counting controlled medication, documenting intake and removal, and signing off as medication is taken. Provide milieu coverage: maintain therapeutic milieu, empower clients to follow guidelines, conduct rounds, answer phones and front‑door, and other duties as assigned. Ensure facility safety and cleanliness, free fire escape routes, and report concerns. Input client and program data into Electronic Health Records. Facilitate or co‑facilitate client groups and complete required documentation. Provide referrals as needed. Non‑Essential Functions

Participate in agency events, fund‑raising, advocacy, and community activities. Perform any other duties requested by supervisor or designee. Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a professional team. Ability to engage with clients in an instructive, directive, and compassionate manner. Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. CPR certification (obtainable upon hire). Completed TB screening (obtainable upon hire). Three professional references, at least two from a manager or supervisor. Preferred Qualifications

Experience in addiction or mental health field. Knowledge of addiction recovery process or willingness to acquire it within first six months of employment. Strong organizational and record‑keeping skills. Position Type: Part‑time (16 hrs) - Saturday & Sunday 7 a.m.–3 p.m., on‑site. Rate: $22.28 / hr.
