Responsibilities

Manage projects related to Finance Transformation from inception to successful implementation, including system integration, data migration, system implementation, and testing coordination.

Develop project plans for each project phase.

Monitor and document progress, milestone deliverables, risks, and costs across projects.

Assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel.

Prepare and present status reports to working groups and Finance and Technology leadership.

Develop and present recurring dashboards, project plans, timelines, reports, and governance updates for key projects to the PMO, Steering Committees and executive sponsors.

Monitor plan to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Track and identify response plans for risks and issues.

Drive consensus on project strategy and direction leveraging Steering Committee meetings for key decisions and updates.

Collaborate with Enterprise teams and directly liaise with leads for each business area.

Adhere to best project management practices and methodologies, such as PMI and Lean Six Sigma.

Prepare, maintain and report project budget and spend actuals, conduct regular reconciliations against plan, review reforecasts with project sponsors, and provide analysis to stakeholders.

Influence and manage matrix resources assigned to the project.

Perform other related project management duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, accounting, program management, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.

Project Management Professional (PMP) or Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.

5+ years’ experience in project management and stakeholder and leadership reporting.

Proficiency in project management tools required; experience with Microsoft Projects, Wrike a plus.

Experience working with Financial systems, ERPs required (NetSuite, Workday a plus).

Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial transactions, controls and reporting processes.

Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.

Understands and resolves issues of diverse scope with a sense of urgency, demonstrates good judgment for driving solutions.

Ability to coordinate, collaborate and influence across cross‑functional groups and employee levels effectively and professionally to achieve results.

Experience with managing and leading change to drive user adoption, be a change agent, ensure mentoring and training needs are met.

Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization in a fast‑paced environment.

Team‑oriented, sharing information, goals, opportunities, successes and failures with appropriate parties.

Demonstrated ownership of issues by analyzing, gaining consensus, offering alternative solutions, or escalating as appropriate/applicable.
