Senior Business Consultant – Head of U.S. Dairy Products Manufacturing About the Role We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to oversee multiple production facilities and ensure consistent, high‑performing operations across the organization. This leader will guide plant teams, drive operational excellence, strengthen quality and safety performance, and support strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate has proven multi‑site leadership experience in dairy/food manufacturing or a related industry.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and oversight to multiple manufacturing sites.
Standardize operational processes, KPIs, and best practices across all locations.
Drive improvements in productivity, throughput, equipment efficiency, and waste reduction.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, regulatory, and standards.
Support and develop plant leaders, fostering a strong culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
Partner with cross‑functional teams (Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, HR) to meet company objectives.
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives and capital projects.
Develop and manage site‑level budgets, forecasts, and operational plans.
Qualifications
8+ years of progressive operations leadership, with at least 3 years in a multi‑site role.
Experience in food, dairy, or CPG manufacturing strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of regulatory and food safety standards (SQF, HACCP, USDA/FDA).
Proven track record improving operational performance and leading teams.
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
