Job Summary The Regulatory Compliance Specialist ensures that HPC products meet applicable international, federal, and local regulatory requirements, standards, and certifications. This global role supports compliance across North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. The specialist works cross‑functionally with engineering, R&D, quality, and supply chain teams to manage product safety, documentation, testing, and regulatory approvals throughout the product lifecycle.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Product Regulatory Compliance – Monitor global market regulations (FCC, Energy Star, Prop 65, RoHS, REACH, WEEE, ERP, PFAS, labeling, SDS, packaging) to ensure compliance. Summarize regulatory impacts and develop compliance guidelines. Partner with Engineering and R&D to integrate requirements into product design.
Industry Trade Groups & Technical Panels – Lead HPC representation on AHAM and UL technical advisory panels, advocating policies that support company interests.
Regulatory Reporting – File and manage HPC regulatory documents, coordinating with sourcing, packaging, and operations teams. Liaise with third‑party consultants for validation, form preparation, and legal reviews.
Social Responsibility Program – Direct the division’s social responsibility initiatives, aligning with supplier requirements (BSCI, CTPAT, etc.) and coordinating audits.
Customer Requests – Coordinate responses to compliance‑related requests and surveys from HPC customers and internal stakeholders.
Product Sustainability – Develop and lead HPC’s short‑, medium-, and long‑term sustainability goals and commitments, collaborating with NPD, Marketing, Legal, and Finance.
Data Management Systems – Build and maintain environmental, safety, social, and governance information systems and databases.
Compliance Support – Research, prepare, and establish processes to support regulatory changes and customer‑driven initiatives.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Profile
BS in regulatory compliance or a related field required.
2–6 years of regulatory compliance experience, preferably in a small consumer products industry.
Proficiency in establishing corporate compliance programs globally.
Experience working with global supply chains and manufacturing partners preferred.
Required Skills
Strong leadership and project coordination skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
Results‑oriented, highly motivated, and articulate.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Detail‑oriented and well‑organized.

Independent, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
