Registered Nurse, Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab
Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking an experienced
Registered Nurse
for our Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab. As the largest trauma and safety‑net hospital in New England, BMC delivers innovative, evidence‑based care with a strong commitment to equity and excellence.
Position Summary You will provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast‑paced procedural environment, collaborating with surgeons, cardiologists, radiologists, and allied health professionals to deliver safe, patient‑centered outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
Deliver nursing care in the Perioperative Services unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and patient education.
Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and families.
Coordinate and delegate patient care tasks to inter-professional colleagues.
Maintain and update patient records and entered computerized data accurately.
Follow BMC nursing organization policies and guidelines.
Assist leadership in quality improvement projects as needed.
Job Requirements
Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts.
Minimum 1 year of RN experience preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for certain units.
Diploma, ASN, or BSN preferred; ability to obtain BSN within 4 years.
Preferred clinical experience in interventional radiology, cardiac cath, or electrophysiology; ICU and moderate sedation experience required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical ability to perform job duties.
Basic computer proficiency.
Fluency in another language is a plus.

Compensation Range $38.05 – $75.33 per hour. This estimate is based on the minimum qualifications. Final compensation is determined by a comprehensive review of education, experience, licensure, and certifications.
