$84,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement material planning, procurement, and inventory control strategies.
Manage and optimize inventory levels to ensure production continuity while minimizing carrying costs.
Oversee supplier selection, negotiation, and performance management for raw materials and components.
Lead and mentor the materials planning and purchasing teams.
Collaborate with production, sales, and engineering to align material availability with manufacturing schedules.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives related to material acquisition, storage, and logistics.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies in material management.
Recommended Qualifications
Proven experience (5+ years) in materials management, supply chain, or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., APICS CSCP, CPIM) preferred.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems for inventory planning, forecasting, and production scheduling.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on inventory optimization and cost reduction.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills for managing teams and supplier relationships.
Bonus Qualifications
Advanced proficiency with specific ERP modules (e.g., SAP MM, Oracle SCM).
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt).
Experience with international sourcing, import/export, and global logistics.
Demonstrated experience utilizing advanced data analytics for demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
