Medical Lab Scientist I
to support Core Lab operations.
Key Responsibilities: • Perform testing across Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation • Conduct QC, run instruments, and perform routine maintenance • Work as a generalist with exposure to blood bank tasks • Independently manage workload during night shift • Maintain accuracy, quality, and compliance within laboratory standards
Requirements: • BS in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biological, Chemical, or Physical Science
OR
qualifying CLIA alternative • 1 year of relevant clinical laboratory experience (depending on education route) •
ASCP or AMT certification required •
Generalist experience required (Chem, Hem, UA, Coag) •
Blood bank experience preferred (not required) • Epic LIS experience preferred • Color vision screening required • Must meet all CLIA testing personnel requirements • Ability to work independently on night shift • Hep B, Flu (declination accepted), and standard medical screenings required
Reliable transportation is a must.
