Locus Design Collaborative is a dynamic Architecture firm, focused on commercial interiors projects primarily in Fairfield (CT) and Westchester (NY) counties. We offer exposure to an array of job types including workplace, building repositioning, retail, and restaurant design. Candidates must have a can‑do attitude, one who is willing to work both as a team player on larger projects and independently on smaller ones.
The current position is for a Project Architect/ Job Captain with approximately 5-8 years of experience. We will favor applicants with personal qualities that fit with our friendly and collaborative office culture.
Responsibilities and Duties Qualified candidates for this position are passionate about design and the details of each of their projects. Portfolio will clearly show strong creative design, including both production and presentation. Knowledge of 3D modeling software and construction administration is a plus.

Qualified candidates should possess the following skills:
Proficiency in Autocad is required, Revit and Sketchup is valued
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Powerpoint, Word, Excel is beneficial.
Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
Strong collaborative and detail‑oriented work ethic
Formal education in architecture or design related field
Minimum 3 years of professional experience
