Position: Neurohospitalist (Clinical Assistant/Associate/Professor) at the University of Florida Department of Neurology, Main Campus (Gainesville, FL). Full‑time, 23 weeks per year. The schedule includes a 7‑day on / 7‑day off pattern with participation in an on‑call rotation.

Responsibilities And Expectations
Provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care to patients with complex neurological disorders on the general neurology ward and in consult services.
Conduct thorough evaluations, develop treatment plans, and manage patients with a wide range of neurological conditions.
Teach and supervise neurology residents and medical students.
Maintain a commitment to academic excellence with opportunities for teaching.
Meet all requirements for licensure, certification, and hospital privileges.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Work a minimum of 23 weeks per year with scheduled 7‑day on / 7‑day off shifts and on‑call rotation.
Required Qualifications
MD or equivalent
Board certified or board eligible in Neurology
Completion of Neurology residency training
Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Florida
Preferred
Demonstrated interest in academic medicine
Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
