We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervising Senior Tax professional to join our fast‑paced financial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the tax department, providing expert tax planning advice, and ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills, who can mentor and develop junior staff, while also managing their own workload. Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the tax department, ensuring all work is completed accurately and on time. Provide expert tax planning advice to clients, helping them to minimize their tax liabilities and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Develop and implement tax strategies that align with the company’s business objectives. Train, mentor, and develop junior staff, providing them with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their roles. Oversee the preparation and review of tax returns, ensuring they are accurate and compliant. Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as required. Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring the company and clients are always compliant. Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure a cohesive approach to financial management. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a senior tax role, with proven experience supervising and training staff. Strong knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all related tax issues. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, auditors, and tax authorities. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Proficiency in relevant tax software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing business needs. Seniority level
