Overview The Retail Service Specialist supports the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role also assumes shift management responsibilities in the absence of higher‑level management.

Responsibilities

Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.

Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution of programs such as Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, and Rock the Lot.

Ensure telephone calls are answered according to company policy.

Process and track buy online/ship to store, hub‑to‑store transfers, store‑to‑store transfers, and DC add orders, and contact customers upon shipment arrivals.

Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently, using the electronic outside purchase order ledger.

Process retail customer returns and exchanges accurately, issue refunds using appropriate payment methods, and stage returned merchandise correctly.

Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before the product leaves the store.

Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as needed.

Ensure team members adhere to posted work schedule and clock in/out per company policy.

Perform all store opening and closing duties, including day‑end procedures, securing money and deposits, preparing bank deposits, managing security alarms, and securing delivery vehicles.

Carry out any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

Strong communication skills.

Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Desired:

Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.

Knowledge of automotive systems and repair.

ASE Certification.

Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
