Production Scheduler

Responsibilities
Run MRP to determine manufacturing and production run needs.
Update production jobs with any modifications needed from change controls or deviations.
Research and assign manufacturing and production dates necessary to complete the order before the customer due date.
Coordinate with customer service, purchasing, manufacturing, and production teams to monitor and resolve issues affecting delivery.
Deliver shop‑floor job tickets to production and track every batch and fill ticket through the manufacturing process to ensure all are accounted for.
Monitor bulk inventory to use current WIP inventory prior to scheduling.
Lead daily team meetings to review the current schedule and address issues raised by production or other departments.
Research order and delivery discrepancies, resolve MRP‑related issues, and take corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Coordinate and manage special projects as required.
Requirements
Competent with computer software such as Microsoft Office, particularly strong Excel skills.
Knowledge and experience in MRP/ERP systems.
Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work with a dynamic workload: multitasking during peak periods and focused detail‑oriented work during critical projects.
Ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks regularly.
Bachelor's degree or a minimum of two years of experience in the same or a similar industry.
Experience as a planner/scheduler in a manufacturing environment (two or more years preferred).
Strong problem‑solving and multi‑tasking skills.
Location: Carrollton, TX. Salary: $60,000.00–$80,000.00. Employment: Full‑time.
