Minimum Qualifications

• Currently sworn officer possessing a current certification from the North Carolina Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission;
• High school graduate/GED; and
• A valid North Carolina driver's license.
• Ideally, a candidate will have at least three years of police experience.
• Part-time officers may transition to full-time status upon availability of positions.
