Peer Support Specialist (Part Time)

We offer behavioral healthcare services – psychiatry, addiction recovery, mental disorder treatment, etc. – that allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being.

Hourly Rate: $15-20/hour (based on experience and education)

Schedule: Part Time 16-24 hours per week, with weekend scheduling

Job Duties / Responsibilities

Provide lived experience expertise and interact with multi-disciplinary treatment team

Maintain regular contact with referral sources as indicated

Update on consumer’s progress; participate in regularly scheduled treatment team meetings

Prepare and conduct reviews with referral sources

Medical record documentation and documentation of all client or peripheral contacts

Provide transportation for clients to access community resources

Emergency services duty on rotation that may include commitment procedures, after hour assessments, crisis planning, and hospital diversion

Other duties as assigned

Education / Experience

Required: Certified Peer Specialist certificate

Preferred: Associate degree within a professional Human Services discipline
