Project Manager – Atlanta (Hybrid) Join our team as a Project Manager. This hybrid role is based out of our Atlanta office in Peachtree City, GA. The position is salaried and includes eligibility for overtime pay. The purpose is to ensure the successful completion of projects, emphasizing profitability, schedule compliance, client communication, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Implement proposal procedures and action plans
Review resource assignments with department managers
Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
Provide scope control, change management, and risk identification
Build and nurture client and project team relationships
Direct and coordinate technical activities
Initiate, document, and facilitate project communication with client, team, and stakeholders
Ensure all contractual requirements are satisfied
Maintain records of purchased materials and subcontracts
Issue and administer subcontracts and associated documentation
Oversee construction for EPC projects
Coordinate commercial activities with the accounting department and assist with A/R collections when needed
Recommend SOP changes to support continuous improvement
Maintain positive client relationships and develop potential work opportunities
Provide resource managers with professional feedback on team personnel
Represent Matrix Technologies in professional organizations and societies related to project management and/or engineering
Qualifications
Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture (required)
PE and/or PMP (preferred)
Four or more years of project management experience
Seven or more years of engineering experience
Experience in industrial manufacturing (preferred)
Experience with multi‑discipline engineering and EPC projects (preferred)
Ability to travel 25%–50% locally and 10%–20% overnight
Physical Requirements
Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear
Must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus
May perform industrial field work including exposure to hazardous locations, inclement weather, moving mechanical parts, noise, ladders, uneven ground, and stairs
May perform industrial field work including exposure to a wide range of known food allergens

Salary & Compensation We offer market‑competitive compensation for a Project Manager with a base range of $87,000 to $120,000 annually, and a total compensation package that includes quarterly bonuses, 401(k) matching, and overtime pay. Salaries are based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
