Required Qualifications:
Experienced MF Storage administrator/ developer with 5 years of experience.
Proven success with the implementation of new MF Storage technologies.
Knowledge of and experience working with the following:
Hitachi Vantara DASD synchronous and asynchronous replication.
IBM TAPE GRID configurations.
Broadcom (Brocade) FICON directors and channel extension.
ACC/SRS, ACS, DFHSM, ICKDSF, CA1, User Catalogs, ABARS, TDMF, and/or DFDSS.
Assembler and CLIST.
Proficiency in SAS, VISIO, MS Office, and REXX.
Summary: A leading financial services company is looking to add a Mainframe Storage Admin/ Developer to their team. Responsibilities will span systems engineering activities supporting Mainframe (System z) Storage projects with varying degrees of complexity
includes system design, build, development, implementation, maintenance, operations, and client support across infrastructure and software. Ability to work under minimal supervision from more seasoned consultants or managers
includes support of senior personnel and project managers on technical projects; may assist and help train junior analysts
includes guiding and providing technical peer reviews. Ability to work on complex problems where analysis of situation or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors; exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. The role is on a 12 month contract, hybrid schedule (3 days onsite) in Plano, TX; Richmond, VA; or Hopewell, NJ. The position pays up to $60.55/ hour based on experience and skillset. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
