The Part You’ll Play: The role involves providing personal care assistance to residents at The Commons, offering protective oversight and responding to the needs and requests of residents. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior aligned with Hilltop’s Assisted Living Communities (ALCs) values, including Service 1 and Service 2. Set boundaries, be predictable, consistent, kind, and transparent. Provide protective oversight of residents, assisting them, maintaining a safe environment, redirecting disoriented residents, enforcing house rules, honoring resident rights, reporting difficulties, and monitoring visitors. Offer social supervision, including transportation to events, communication of and attendance at social events, mail handling, and general socialization. Maintain sanitation and safety of residents by monitoring living and common areas, removing hazards, maintaining safety supplies, and redirecting residents from unsafe situations. Assist with transportation, including riders on and off the transport bus or van. Do laundry for residents and cleaning of laundry areas. Assist residents with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, dining, bedtime). Promote positive customer relations by learning resident names, acknowledging residents and visitors, answering phones, and maintaining confidentiality with a positive attitude. Respond to radio, pager, and resident request system. More Specifically, In This Role We Request: Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Six months of work experience preferred but not required. Age: Minimum 18 years old. Certificates: CPR Certificate/First Aid Certificate (preferred).
